Nota Bene is built on uncompromised standards and total discretion. Here, we outline the fundamental details of how we manage travel for our global client base.

Should you have a question not addressed here or wish to discuss an upcoming journey, please reach out to us at info@notabeneglobal.com.

What makes Nota Bene different?

Nota Bene is defined by discernment, deep-rooted authority, and an uncompromising commitment to excellence. Unlike automated platforms and self-proclaimed industry “experts,” we rely exclusively on first-hand knowledge. We do not merely book travel; we create flawless experiences based on an intuitive understanding of the extraordinary, ensuring every recommendation has been personally vetted to the highest possible standard.

Who is a typical Nota Bene client?

We serve an exacting, highly well-travelled global clientele. Our clients value authentic discovery, total discretion, and uncompromised quality. Having already explored the world extensively, they seek what is rare, private, and untrodden. They choose Nota Bene because they demand real specialists in the truest sense. In other words, advisors who unlock access that cannot be found in a brochure or online.

What types of interests do your private clients have?

Our clients share a passion for the exceptionally well-crafted, including:

  • Contemporary art, architecture, and private collection access
  • Culinary discovery and rare vintage wines
  • Premier global sporting events
  • Haute couture, bespoke shopping, and fine craftsmanship
  • Cutting-edge health, wellbeing, and longevity
Can you accommodate multi-generational travel?

Multi-generational travel is one of our core specialities. We excel at designing legacy journeys that bridge the gap between a ten-year-old’s sense of wonder and an eighty-year-old’s requirement for comfort and access. Whether arranging a private estate takeover in Tuscany or a multi-cabin yacht charter through the Aegean, we curate every detail to ensure the pace and privacy cater perfectly to everyone.

Where is your primary geographic focus?

Our reach is truly global, focusing on the definitive destinations of each region:

  • City Escapes: Insider access, excellent dining, and top hotel suites in London, New York, Hong Kong, Milan, Paris, Rome, and Madrid.
  • Expeditions & Wilderness: Safaris across East and Southern Africa; polar expeditions in Antarctica; the vast desertscapes of Saudi Arabia; private diving in Indonesia; heli-skiing in New Zealand; and yachting across the Caribbean.
  • Seasonal Enclaves: Expert-led winter seasons in Aspen, Courchevel, and Gstaad; summer yachting throughout the Mediterranean and Aegean; cherry blossom season in Japan; and the wildflower months along South Africa’s Cape Peninsula.
Have you personally visited everywhere you recommend?

Yes. This is the cornerstone of our credibility. We do not recommend destinations based on PR gloss, paid partnerships, or third-party reports. Our team physically vets every hotel suite, meets the General Managers personally, tests logistics on the ground, and dines at the exact tables we suggest. We understand the “vibe” of a property, including lighting, acoustic levels, service culture, and privacy. These details can only be captured through direct, first-hand experience.

What is the typical annual travel investment for a client?

Our clients typically maintain an annual travel investment starting at $500,000, frequently exceeding $1M+. This reflects the complexity of their bespoke itineraries, the exclusivity of private assets (aviation, villas, superyachts), and the dedicated personal attention from our senior team.

Do you handle travel specifically centred around the art world?

Art-centric travel is a core expertise. We manage the annual cultural calendar for serious collectors, including seamless logistics for Art Basel (Basel, Miami Beach, Hong Kong), Frieze (London and Paris), the Venice Biennale, and major auction seasons in New York and London. Beyond securing leading accommodations during high-demand dates, we ensure our clients enjoy private viewings and seamless transportation throughout these events.

Can you provide expert curators for wine and art?

Yes. We have a private network of world-class curators, master sommeliers, and respected art historians. Whether you require a private walk-through of a closed gallery with a leading academic or an exclusive tasting in a private cellar in Bordeaux closed to the public, we facilitate those connections.

What is the difference between Nota Bene and a lifestyle concierge?

We are not a general lifestyle concierge for daily errands, local theatre tickets, or ad-hoc bookings. While we manage every lifestyle requirement during an active itinerary (such as hard-to-get dining reservations or event access), our sole focus is operating as a private travel office, arranging world-class, end-to-end travel experiences.

Do you offer 24-hour service?

Yes. While you are travelling, your dedicated Private Client Manager is contactable at all times. During the planning phases, we respond within hours. Furthermore, we maintain round-the-clock ground support in every destination alongside direct emergency protocols should circumstances require them.

Do you handle commercial flights and private charter?

Yes. We handle both commercial first-class and private aviation through carefully vetted global partners. We excel at managing complex flight routing, last-minute schedule adjustments, and ground transfers.

Can you plan private events?

Yes. In conjunction with our global network of trusted specialists, we design exceptional private events, from milestone birthday celebrations on private islands to intimate family gatherings.

Do you make restaurant reservations?

Yes. Restaurant reservations are an integral part of every Nota Bene travel itinerary. However, to maintain our standard of service, we do not offer standalone restaurant booking services outside of a managed journey.

Do you provide travel insurance?

Yes. We offer comprehensive travel insurance arrangements through trusted partners in the UK, Europe and the United States. Our team will provide options upon planning your journey.
