Happy New Year and welcome to 2022.

We enjoyed a quiet, reflective holiday season and braced ourselves for lockdown life and another avalanche of cancelled travels. Thankfully our fears were mostly unfounded. Much to our delight, very few people were willing to disrupt their vacation plans. Our phone lines kept ringing. Not for cancellations, but with clients wanting to travel! Believe it or not, we had difficulty securing last minute availability at certain top properties in the Caribbean.

With the ski season now in full swing, thoughts turn to the slopes for those in search of prime winter sports destinations.

Envisage yourself waking up to sunlit white snow under a brilliant blue sky. You’re sitting by a crackling log fire, with an oversized cashmere blanket, while your ski boots are warmed. The house manager reconfirms your early evening massages and your favourite red wine has been brought in specially to accompany dinner. Tomorrow, heli-skiing, in remote terrain where you’ll not come across another soul. Vast expanses of spectacular mountain terrain all to yourselves.

Must we leave this daydream and return to reality for a moment? Sadly yes. But it’s mostly good news.

Switzerland has relaxed its entry requirements, and though France’s regulations are stricter, vaccinated travellers may still enter from the US.

The issue most are concerned with is how to keep those PCR tests negative and avoid getting stuck. Our answer is this:

Wherever possible, opt for private chalets. Choose ski-in/ski-out where everything is taken care of by a dedicated team and you won’t have to cross paths with anyone outside your group.

We are carefully screening all properties to ensure staff are fully vaccinated, Covid tests are available in-house, emergency evacuation is available by private helicopter, and that guests are notified immediately of any news that might affect travel plans.

Our overriding message is that the show must go on. It is going on. And with our detail-focused approach, we are the people to get you on your way.

So, if you see yourself on the slopes this winter, in a magnificent private chalet with every detail considered, you know who to CONTACT.
